Okay...quick recap of the past couple of days...
Saturday: Work- annoying as usual Class- See Daughter of the Nile Mason/Shriner Function- I had an amazing time. Good food (half a BBQ chicken each, a huge baked potato, coleslaw and fresh rolls followed by cake), cheap drinks, great music. The live band was actually really good. I was impressed. Paul and I got to dance. :) I was invited onto the dance floor by one of his Elders. Then he encouraged Paul and I to dance. It was sweet. The people were wonderfully friendly. Everyone knows eachother. The organization is incredibly social. I look forward to attending more of their functions. I must have been the youngest one there. Lots of older people. We actually won a prize in the raffle. Everyone bought like, a dozen tickets at a time. Paul and I just bought one. We just so happened to win. Unbelievable. I never win anything. Neither does he. We won a beautiful Thomas Kinkade calendar. I love his landscape paintings. Everyone seems to think Paul (who is one of their newest Masons) is going to go far. The elderly gentleman I had the pleasure of dancing with complimented Paul, teling me he thinks he's going to do extremely well. And Paul seems to be incredibly enthusiastic and eager to learn. I'm happy for him. Who would have thought I'd have more fun at an "adult" party than clubbing or something people my age do. :)
Sunday I worked. And then watched The Lord of the Rings win all 11 awards it was nominated for. Yay!!!!!!!
Today I played the Sims and relaxed. I'll be doing much more of that this week...relaxing. Spring break baby! |

Not much going on here....just been doing a lot of thinking.....Life goes on. Just trying to think of ways to make it better. |

Today was a "meh" day. Nothing special. Went to school. Came home at lunch. Slept for 4 hours. Woke up and had supper. Played FFVII till now, 10:42. Time for bed. No yoga yesterday nor the day before. Why? I pulled my bed out. No room. I'll push it back in tommorrow. I'll do more tommorrow. Besids, my body needs some time to rest.
Long day tommorrow. 2 hour break after my 8:30 class followed by 5 hours straight of more class. Joyful.
More excitement, please.Current Mood: bored

New Game Plus! New Game Plus! I beat the game! Yahoo!
This is only the second Final Fantasy game I've beaten. The other was FFIX.
Now I'm going to go restart FFVII. I got to the second disk and then my computer crashed. This was before we got FFVII for Playstation. So yay!
Lalalala....the end movie is awesome! Let's see if I can get a perfect game. :)

| » Yesterday and Today... |
Din din last night was yummy! We went to Kelsey's again. Bun surprised me at work and waited for me to finish. He bought me a "Happy 50th Birthday" card (first card, ever) and Meteora. Weee! I LOVE! It's been playing in my discman nonstop. It's going to keep playing nonstop until I get back my Hybrid Theory from Bun who as of now, refuses to give it back. It's our new love of Linkin Park. See, I never hopped on the bandwagon in Grade 11 when EVERYONE started listening to them. Why? Stupid, realy. I didn't want to be like everyone else so I never gave LP a chance. Wel after hearing Numb for the first time a while ago, I LOVE! Awesome music. And so Bun bought me Meteora. So yeah, Kelsey's. I had a Purple Rain to drink. Vodka, cranberry, raspberry and lime juices. Sour, but awesome! And I had a delicious rseafood platter. It's the second time we've eaten at Kelsey's. We're still impressed. *sigh* Gotta love food. It was another great day. :)
Today was tiring, but great as well. See my entry at Daughter of the Nile. Lots of energy work. :)
Tired. Yoga and then bed. (BTW, the yoga is going GRWAT. Besides the sore muscles. :) )
Good thing I finished all my homework after supper. It means tommorrow I can do NADA! Yay! FREE day.

| » Languages....bah! |
Paul's teaching himself German. It was supposed to be Dutch, but he can't find anything....few books...few schools that teach the language. I was supposed to take Mandarin lessons at vanier but I didn't register on time. So now I have to find another way of learning a bit of the language so I don't go to China for 2 months completely screwed. Paul found a nice pocket-sized comprehensive German lesson book. Good pronunciation guide and all. I found a 2-CD package with a book but didn't pick it up because it's about $40. Walked away with a cheap $4 quick "cheat sheet". Not a very good help for pronunciation. So i came home and surfed the net for beginner online guides with sound clips. 2 words. HOLY SHIT! Ummm...I think I will be purchasing that $40 kit. 4 different sounds. Meaning: one word can have 4 different meanings depending on how you pronounce it. Not all words, but you know what I mean? Pronunciation is important. Looks like I will be repeating lines from a cd. I should have gone to Chinese school on Saturdays when i was younger. My parents offered. I was horrified thinking about going to school on the weekend. (Hey, i was young.) Now I regret. Damn it. Short English sentences....huge long Chinese sentences.
See for yourself. I know how to say "Hello" and "How are you?"....that's about it. Oh boy.....I'm SO screwed.

| » Day 1 of yoga... |
Let's see how long this lasts. :) I finally found an adequate video. Bought it at Chapters today when i went with Paul. I saw this other one I'm interested using ballet techniques. Unfortunately, it was Level 2. i'm looking for the basic video. So yeah. I'm going to try and do the 20 minute exercise everyday. It certainly is a good relaxer. My muscles feel less tense. Plus, I can work on getting my flexibility back to the way it was before when I was active. I want to get a pilates video and alternate one day yoga and one day pilates. Exercise from home! Plus, yoga is great for the mind and soul as well. :)
What a great day. I only went to English today. Both other classes were optional. I met Paul around 1 and we hung around the West Island. Had lunch, browsed through a couple of shops, went to Chapters. It was really nice. Not so stressful. I think we're starting to learn to not take our own stresses out on eachother. It was nice and relaxing today, and quite refreshing. I look forward to supper tommorrow night. Our Valentine's Day night. :)

Anime I need to watch and re-watch:
-Vision of Escaflowne Eps 1-26 + Movie (I've only seen the english dubbed version....and they're missing episodes) -Record of Lodoss War (Fred says it's good) -Fushigi Yuugi (I love it. I've only seen episodes 1-3)
And...seems I'm going to Anime North with everyone. Yay! Now I need to make a costume. Dressing up is so much fun. :)
Who will I be?
Hmmmmm......

| » Lalala.... |
Valentine's Day on Saturday. Paul is working all weekend so we are going out for supper Friday night after I finish work at 9. Sure Valentine's Day is a Hallmark holiday. Paul and I know we love eachother. It's just another occasion when we get to treat eachother to a nice meal. We spend a lot of our money buying food. Food is yummy. It's one of the great pleasures in life. And now we have an excuse to go to a nice restaurant. It's going to be fun. And yummy. It's also an occasion when I can dress a little more fancy than usual. I love dressing up. I don't do it very often because there isn't always an opportunity. Valentine's Day is another opportunity. It's also a big candy-fest and Paul adores candy. I love the red heart jujubes that are always available this time of year.
On another note, we used charcoal today in Drawing. I HATE charcoal. It gets everywhere and I can't draw as nicely with it. My fingers were black by the time class finished. I hope we never have to use it again. Then there's the fact we started to draw figures. Oh boy. I can draw objects. Fine. But I CAN'T draw people. *shudder* This is going to suck...

| » Annoying sketches.... |
Ack.....6 sketches for tommorrow's class. I have 3. I can't find any other interesting objects to sketch. Now I'm getting annoyed. And the bloody HB pencils like to smudge. *sigh*
Luckily, I am only going in for 12:30 tommorrow. I'm not going to my first class because I am 2 chapters ahead. I get to sleep in!
Today, I went in for one class at 8:30. My English class was cancelled. I came home and slept. I still have the headache I had this morning. Normally, my headaches go away after I sleep. Not today. Ick. :(
Other than sleep, I've been sketching.
I see I've already lured Karen and Lawrence to the dark. Muahahaha! Who's next?
